About Us

  • Careline has been providing domiciliary care within our local community since 1993.
  • Our motto is "Care with Choice."
  • Our mission statement is "To provide quality care through quality training in a clean, safe and happy environment."
  • Our offices are at Morton Grange in Morton, Alfreton (alongside our nursing home and Edexcel training centre).
  • We are a "Derbyshire Dignity Champion" service and "Quality Premium Provider".
  • We encourage all of our staff to train towards diplomas in Health and Social Care.

Delivering Quality Care

We schedule over 4,500 visits per week and deliver over 3,000 hours of care.

We employ over 125 care staff and look after over 250 service users.

Friendly support

Our office team consists of 9 full time members of staff (registered manager, four area coordinators and four field coordinators)

Delivering Person Centered Care

We write an individual "personal support plan" for each service user to ensure that their needs and wishes are understood and respected.
We aim to review this whenever there are significant changes or every 6 months (Social services expectation is annually).

Small enough to care, big enough to manage

Careline started in 1993 and has steadily grown to be one of the biggest providers for Derbyshire County Council. We also care for Private and Continuing Health Care Funded clients.

About Home Care

· Home care can be a great alternative to residential care as it enables our clients to continue living independently for longer.

· Many of our clients prefer home care as it allows them to remain in the safety, comfort and familiarity of their own home whilst still accessing the care and support they require.

· Home care provides piece of mind to clients' friends and relatives who know that their loved one's are receiving the assistance they need. It can be used to provide respite for people who act as primary carers.

Areas we serve / our team

We have a dedicated team of over 125 carers and we encourage them all to complete Vocational Qualifications in Health and Social Care (rewarding them with enhanced pay upon completion).

We have a very thorough induction program which covers all the basic training that staff need to equip themselves for a career in care.

Careline’s Registered Manager is supported by four Co-ordinators who are directly responsible for the four geographic areas. They in turn are supported by four field-coordinators. Many of our care staff have completed or are working toward diploma's level 2 and 3. Staff new to care will be assessed through the care certificate.

Our management team have a wealth of experience in Health and Social care.
